Marketing, Minions and Mayhem

I’ve got three things on tap for you today; my (very brief) background, why I’m here and why you want to keep hearing from me.

HeadshotMy name is Morganne and I’m the ultimate Marketing Minion at MESH. I’m 22, navigating my way through my senior year at SNHU with a major in Marketing and minor in Fashion Merchandising Management. I hail from one of the smallest towns in NH (teetering on the map edge, quite frankly) and am ridiculously overjoyed by anything related to animals or minions. Also, sunshine.

Still with me? If so, this is why I’m here – it was a complete fluke.

I found out about MESH on a Saturday, emailed on a Sunday, had an interview on Thursday and was hired by Friday. Whirlwind, am I right? Honestly, it’s pretty unconventionally amazing. I knew nothing of MESH until I researched the company’s background, what they do and wondered if there was a time that I didn’t want to work here. One web search and I was absolutely hooked – digital marketing is where my passion lies, and the opportunity to even shake hands with experts had my nerves jumping. Once I met the people that make MESH happen, it only confirmed my interest in the agency – everyone brings their own unique perspective to the table, working as a team and having a great time doing it. They’re welcoming and funny and easy-going – who can ask for a better work environment?

Marketing is an ever-changing industry, chock-full of different social media tools, marketing applications and digital marketing strategies. This blog will cover current marketing trends, what’s happening here at MESH and how you can apply these in a successful way to your life or business. It’s a unique position to be both learning and applying at the same time, but it’s the best kind of journey to take. Is there any better way to learn? Now, it can’t all be serious business… let’s be honest, I’m looking at 6 candy jars and a desk full of minions. But I can assure you that this blog will be both educational and entertaining in sharing each aspect of this experience – marketing concepts mastered, office happenings and all of the minion mayhem along the way.
