It may not be recommended that you write prose to purposefully upset a particular group of people. However, taking a stance, offering your point of view instead of providing vague descriptions like, “Some people say,” or “Many people believe…” is far more engaging to a reader and offers a deeper since of connection—even if your readers disagree with you.
