In a recent study by Cornell University, diners were more likely to purchase more expensive entrees when the ‘$’ had been removed from the price. According to Kissmetrics, reducing the font size on prices is also shown to make prices appear more reasonable. Split test this strategy in a campaign and see if your customers find your prices more palatable.
