Country Groomer Logo / Identity Design

Country Groomer provides custom grooming solutions and retail products in Barre, Vermont. With over twenty years of experience grooming and maintaining animals, the owner was upgrading to a large commercial and retail space, and needed a dramatic rebrand. She had already selected decor for the shop—built out like a 50s style diner—and we were hired to design a logo, ads and a web site that reflected this look and feel and color scheme.

The colors were selected based on those the owner selected as part of her decor: black, white and blue. The type was chosen because it is representative of design from the 50s, and the icon is the combination of a dog and a grooming comb.
