In 2009, two of the largest printers in Boston, Copy Cop and Ben Franklin Smith printers came together and formed a new company, BFS | Daniels. Senior leadership turned to MESH to create a new logo, marketing materials, and website. The concept that MESH created and used to drive this logo was based on the idea that BFS | Daniels would focus on personalized print projects, delivering one to one communications. From this, we extrapolated the idea of a one to one digital dialogue—and the tagline—“start your conversation with print”. This drove the development of a new, high tech, modern logo that tied the previous identities together, used a modern and fresh color palette, as well as featured a mark that represents a dialogue or chat bubble, proportioned as a standard sheet of paper, with blocks of color leaping off—engaging and breaking out of the box.
