About this logo.
Zone Positive is a video-based online learning environment, created to help people thrive in their personal and professional life using the tenets of positive psychology. The owner, Betsy Ludlow was looking for new tech for her website, as well as a new look and feel, and better usability. Upon review, MESH determined that the existing logo didn’t convey the quality of the eduction provided by Zone Positive. We recommended a number of options, and Betsy selected the one shown here.
The previous logo used a more youth oriented typeface, as well as a single gray/green color. It also made a cartoon face out of the initial letters of the name, Z + P. Given that Zone Positive lives mostly online, is free of the costly constraints of printing full color, and is a professionally focused business, we thought to create a logo that used a sophisticated color palette, as well as a more mature and polished mark.
The result? An identity that solidly anchors the business, conveys a professional image, while maintaining the positive approach Betsy desired. Says Betsy, “[I] Got very lucky when I found Bill Schick (Mesh Agency). He was the point man—accessible, responsive—and full of good solutions. I am very pleased with the outcome of this project.”
