About this logo.
In 2009 MESH was hired to replace a design / web development team that hadn’t finished the job on 4GWorld. Having successfully completed and augmented that project, we were then hired to rebrand, develop marketing materials and design and launch the new, 2010 4G World Brand. The previous years identity was focused on a “star trekkie” them—black and white universe photo-based graphics that were unattractive, difficult to work with, and not reflective of the high tech modern feel of the show. For the new logo we hand rendered a globe made out of the 4G, selected type that was more modern, and a color palette the resonated with the target audience—anyone doing anything in mobile.
