About this logo.

Dick Kaufman and Ron Calareso have each worked in higher education and independent school dining services for more than thirty-five years. During their careers they worked with the two major companies, Saga and ARAMARK, in just about every facet of the industry. Starting as dining service managers, they rose through the ranks of these organizations as directors, marketing managers, human resource directors, district managers and finally as regional vice presidents. Recently, the pair struck out on their own to start a new consulting practice. They hired MESH to create their new logo, marketing collateral and website.

For the logo, Dick and Ron were looking for something traditional but not stodgy. They liked bright, rich colors, and mature, traditional typography. We determined that, given their service-based professional consulting practice, a mark (or icon) wouldn’t really represent them properly.

The solution? A logotype that bridges the gap between youthful cutting edge consulting solutions, and traditional hard-working, reliable values.
