Yankee Group Rebrands 4GWorld and Drives Attendance

4GWorld
For nearly 40 years, The Yankee Group has been a respected authority on network connectivity with a focus on networks, enterprises and consumers. Located in Boston, Massachusetts, with nearly 30 analysts, The Yankee Group is a leader in technology research. For the past few years The Yankee Group has been conducting the global event, 4G World. 4G World is one of the US’s largest technology and connectivity events.
In the beginning of 2009, 4G World hired MESH Interactive to take over the development of their two web properties, 4GWorld.com and 4GTrends.com. After a successful 2009 show, 4G World hired MESH to rebrand the event, and launch a completely new website. This included:
• Creating a new logo for the event
• Creating marketing materials, including a robust program guide
• Designing and developing a website with dynamic features including video, search and ad management program
The challenge on this particular project was developing a program schedule that site admins could maintain with no knowledge of HTML, was searchable, and was tied to a dynamic daily calendar.
The results? Users could quickly access program schedules faster than ever before. This combined with a dynamic printed program guide helped make information easier to access, helping increase show attendance.
